Reporting to the General Manager the position carries the responsibilities of:

• Planning and delivering a new and effective national sales strategy; and
• Helping to create a business structure with processes and systems that align your sales strategy with overall business goals and production capacity
• Maintaining and growing the effectiveness of the relationships with distributors and customers
  

What skills and experiences will get you seriously considered for the role?

• You will have spent some time in a light manufacturing/workshop environment and have a good awareness of engineering equipment such as presses or CNC equipment
• An appropriate tertiary qualification such as a BEng (Mech.)
• A passion for providing strong technical sales solutions, dealing primarily with wholesale clients
• A proven record of creating sales strategies and driving growth
• Effective team leadership skills with the potential to take full advantage of further internal growth opportunities
  

You will need to enjoy the structure of a small company dealing with specialist products that are primarily sold through a distributor network.  Additionally you are self-motivated, a great communicator, and happy to work autonomously.

Ideally, you will need to be naturally very well organised and accurate, and already a successful sales leader.
