This client organisation is undergoing significant change within a number of areas, in particular how they manage the contracted out relationships for services and supply. With the imminent departure of the current incumbent, we're after an experienced Senior level Contracts and Relationship specialist to take over this critical function.
The groundwork has been done but there is still a lot to be achieved, so we need someone who can hit the ground running (excuse the cliche..), and continue the great work already achieved. There will be some overlap, so you will not be going into this cold.
If you have this expertise, we don't need to spell out what you'll be doing in detail, but there are some fundamentals that are imperative.
Mandatory is your up-to-date knowledge of Government guidelines and compliance requirements in providing outsourced services to the public sector. And further, we want someone with exemplary relationship management skills, as the measurement of the success of this role will be around how smoothly existing contracts are managed, and how smoothly new ones are integrated. It would be expected that your are proficient in relevant MS products and do not require support in delivery of your documentation and written communication.
It would be unlikely that you didn't have a relevant tertiary qualification, although most important is a successful and demonstrable track record.
Having provided resource successfully to this client, paramount is organisational fit, and whilst this is often hard to define, this will be discussed in the early part of the process.
This appointment is for a minimum of 12 months and you will need to be prepared to work as a contractor to fulfill this role.
